The Ministry of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology recently met with educators to share plans for Vara Expo 2026 and explore opportunities for collaboration within the education sector.
The meeting introduced educators to the vision for Vara Expo 2026 and the ways they can take part. A key focus was the opening of sponsorship opportunities for educators and educational institutions, inviting them to play an active role in shaping the upcoming expo.
Participants also looked back at Vara Expo 2025, discussing its successes and lessons learned. Educators shared their perspectives on what could be strengthened, improved and expanded, along with ideas for creating greater value for students, institutions, businesses and the wider community.
The Ministry thanks all the educators who took part and shared their insights. Their feedback will help make Vara Expo 2026 a stronger and more inclusive platform.
Sponsorship and partnership opportunities are now open for educators and educational institutions. Set to take place from November 26 to 28, 2026, at Central Park, Hulhumalé, Vara Expo 2026 aims to build on the success of last year and deliver an even greater impact for young Maldivians.
