Ministry and HDC Discuss Venue Partnership for Vara Expo 2026

With Vara Expo 2026 set to return to Central Park, Hulhumalé, the Ministry of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology met with Housing Development Corporation (HDC) to discuss the corporation’s role in this year’s expo.

HDC supported Vara Expo 2025 as Venue Partner, helping turn Central Park into a space that welcomed thousands of visitors over three days. The meeting reflected on that collaboration and explored HDC’s continued support as Venue Partner for the 2026 edition.Discussions also covered HDC’s participation as an exhibitor. As the developer of Hulhumalé, HDC works across urban planning, construction, property management and community services, and a presence at the expo would let young Maldivians learn about career opportunities in shaping one of the country’s fastest-growing cities.

Both parties also discussed venue arrangements and logistics to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.

The Ministry thanks HDC for its support and looks forward to continued collaboration ahead of Vara Expo 2026, taking place from November 26 to 28, 2026, at Central Park, Hulhumalé.
